Change is inevitable and when it comes to fashion, change is the only constant. Like ever year, this year was not any different either. New cuts, new styles were introduced and became a trend in spur of a moment. Here’s a review of the fashion trends of 2017 that became widely popular among the masses.

Tulip Shalwar:

Who said fashion cannot be comfortable? Tulip shalwars came this year as a modern twist to the classic old shalwars and became the go to lowers for hot summery days. Available in a variety of drapes, these have become a wardrobe essential. What is best about tulip shalwars is the fact that these can instantly transform into giving an edgy fusion look or can look gracefully desi depending on the look you want to create.

Peplum Tops:

This cute and fun cut became the hottest trend of this year.  Peplum tops look good on anybody regardless of their body shape and are fun to style. They can paired with any kind of lowers be it palazzo pants, skirts or even shalwar and make the outfit standout in an instant. Every Pakistani brand has these tops in stock because well there is no reason not to.

Gharara Pants:

These are the latest trend in fashion. Its feminine silhouette is best for any semi formal or formal gathering. These provide gharara pants might be a little tricky to pull off but look absolutely graceful if worn right.  Paired with peplum tops, gharara pants look absolutely chic.

Off-shoulders made a wave all around the globe, whether Hollywood or Bollywood, it became the fashion statement this year. It makes the perfect look for summery days and can be styled as either casual or formal. While it came as a western trend, it was beautifully incorporated in eastern wear too.

Ruffle Sleeves:

Perfect for making a statement without going out of way, ruffled sleeves came out this year to do just that.  Even a plain solid coloured kameez with ruffled sleeves makes the look bold and fun.

So if you are still behind on the fashion bandwagon, do not worry because there is still time before this year ends and trends change.
