Pieces of a Biblical scroll dating back 19,00 years have been discovered in the Cave of Horror in the Judean Dessert in Israel.  Back in the 1960’s 40 skeletons were found in this cave which were of people who had starved to death at the time of Bar Kokhba revolt between A.D 132 to A.D 135.  The Jews in the region had revolted against the Roman Empire. According to some ancient writers more than 500,000 jews were killed while many others were deported from the region.  The newly discovered Biblical scroll is written in Greek and dates back to Kokhba revolt and contains pages from Books of Zechariah and Nahum. The Israel Antiquities Authority IAA claims that this is the first time in 60 years that a Biblical scroll has been discovered in a scientific archaelogical excavation.
