Born on 23rd January the extraordinary Kanwal Naseer made history by becoming the inaugural face of Pakistan television. Being the daughter of the legendary Mohini Hameed also known as the golden voice of Pakistan Kanwal Nasser worked in radio drama at an early age. Later the advent of television in Pakistan was marked by Kanwal Naseer’s first announcement on 26th November 1964. Kanwal Naseer due to her endearing personality, hard work and unparalleled genius continues to inspire generations of television hosts as one the greatest luminaries of television.
