NASA officials are adamant on launching its car-size perseverance rover which is the center piece of the mars 2020 mission. The scientists are optimistic that they will be ready to launch the rover during a three week window that opens on 17 July. Such windows are rare as they come just once in a period of 26 months when the earth and the red planet align properly for interplanetary missions. According to Lori Glaze, the head of NASA’s planetary Science Division currently MARS 2020 is moving forward as everything is very well on track. However, if Corona Virus escalates to the point that the health and safety of workers are at risk then the space agency will certainly suspend Perseverance launch preparations.
