Scientists discover a secret molecule that lets bacteria exhale electricity

Scientists have discovered that breathing is more complicated than humans for mouth less and lung less bacteria. Humans inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide whereas Geobacter a groundwater bacteria exhales electrons generating a tiny electric current in the process. According to scientists billions of bacteria are buzzing with electricity in the depths of the ocean. Researchers claim to have figured out how to combine that technology into a potent, microbial power grid.
