Her majesty marked the first official day of spring with some splendid photos of Buckingham Palace on the Royal Family Instagram account. The caption read “Sunrise over the lake in the Buckingham Palace Garden. Today marks the first official day of spring, as we all look forward to brighter days ahead.”
The Queen’s traditional Birthday Parade cancelled for a second year owing to Coronavirus Pandemic
The Queen’s official birthday is celebrated with a parade called Trooping of the colors. Last year for the first time since 1955, Trooping of colors didn’t take place in its traditional form. This year the parade has been cancelled for the second year in a row.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Newham Ambulance Station in London on Thursday. As the royals stood there talking to the ambulance staff in a light shower Kate Middleton noticed that one of the staff members was without a brolly. Despite woman’s polite decline Kate asked her protection officer to bring over a spare umbrella.
