Film in Review

Lal Kabootar

Film Lal Kabootar has been appreciated by the audiences for being intriguing and neatly wrapping up in one and a half hour.  The film revolves around the story of Alia ( Mansha Pasha) who is seeking  justice from a slack justice system for her murdered husband Noman Malik (Ali Kazmi). Justice is delayed therefore Alia is provoked to anger and decides to uncover the mystery surrounding her husband’s brutal murder in targeted killing in Karachi. Alia by some quirk of fate comes across Adeel (Ahmed Ali) a taxi driving who is involved in minor crimes in order to fulfill his desire of going to Dubai.  Adeel agrees to unravel the mystery revolving victim Noman Malik’s murder but demands a handsome amount in return.  Mansha Pasha, Ahmed Ali and Mohammad Ahmed have been much admired for putting in a lot of effort and bringing out their best.  The back ground music makes the climax of the film more interesting to watch.  On the whole, Lal Kabootar is an interesting film and keeps the audience glue to the screen.
