B-Towns Bigwigs in Troubled Waters

India’s #Me Too Movement is hitting hard Bollywood these days as some of the notable’s names are now being linked with some kind of controversies.  The movement gained momentum in B-town after Tanushree  Dutta broke her silence by accusing Nana  Patekar  of harassing her in 2008. In the wake of Tanushree Dutta and Patekar’s controversy several actresses have shared their experiences of being harassed in Bollywood at some point in time. Ever since the Me Too movement began, some bigwigs such as Sajid Khan, Alok Nath, Nawazuddin  Siddique  and Amitab Bachchan have been accused.  Some people in Bollywood are of the view that actresses who are away from the lime light are using the Me Too Movement to gain attention.  However, others believe that inappropriate behavior in B –town against women is one of the bitter realities of Bollywood.

Remembering Chef Tahir Chaudhry

Masala TV’s renowned chef and culinary expert Tahir Chaudhry passed away on 6th October due to cardiac arrest.  The late chef died on Saturday evening after appearing on Masala TV’s 12 anniversary celebration earlier that day.  Masala TV wrote on its face Book and Twitter” Masala TV’s most talented and soft hearted person chef Tahir Chaudhry passed away. We deeply condole on his sad demise.  However, some websites have severely criticized the food channel for initially concealing the news of the chef’s death in order to continue its 12th anniversary celebration.
