The hit World War II drama World on Fire has been renewed for a second series according to the BBC. The BBC One series, starring Helen Hunt, Sean Bean and Arthur Darvill focused how war affected the lives of ordinary people living in Britain and various European cities. It is expected that the story of the second series could focus on years 1941-42. No official air date of the series has been announced yet. Therefore, fans are suggested to wait a while for the second run of their favorite war drama. Reportedly the first series took two years in its making. Therefore this time fans might have to wait a little longer as the second series will introduce new characters living in countries not earlier visited by the series.
